Gold Slumped Bottle Cheese Plate

This "upcycled" gold bottle cheese is the perfect way to go "green" for your next party. It's created by placing the bottle in the kiln to a high temp until it collapses on itself. The gold color is created from mica powder, or "fool's gold" , which is housed inside the bottle before it goes in the kiln. These small platters work well as cheese or tapas plates or even as a spoon rest.
